Clean air paths and calm, careful crews
Dust is a slow, quiet problem in a data hall. It rides the airflow into cabinet intakes, settles on cable trays and builds up under the raised floor where nobody looks. Concord Janitorial cleans technical spaces with methods built for them: low-lint materials, filtered vacuums and a crew that moves slowly and deliberately around running equipment.
Work inside the white space follows the operator’s procedures in every detail. Your facilities or site team decides which rooms we enter, when, with whom, and what we may touch. Our plan simply carries those rules out.
Technical spaces across Concord
Concord’s office towers and corporate campuses run server rooms, network rooms and data halls that need low-lint, escorted cleaning.
Whether you run a dedicated hall or a single server room on an office floor, the cleaning approach is the same: controlled, documented and on your schedule.
Access, escorts and the protocol on site
Data centers run on access control. Our crew members arrive on the schedule you approve, sign in, wear the badges or visitor credentials your site issues, and work with an escort wherever your policy calls for one. Every cleaner is background-checked before assignment. Tools and supplies are listed in advance so security knows exactly what comes through the door.
Where your site requires shoe covers, smocks or other gowning before entering a room, crews put them on at the threshold. Nothing is plugged into your power, no cabinet is opened unless you direct it, and no equipment is moved.
Top to bottom, from overhead to under the floor
Every room is cleaned from the top down so dust only falls onto surfaces that have not been cleaned yet. Cable tray exteriors, ladder racks, light fixtures and the tops of cabinets are cleaned first with HEPA vacuums and low-lint cloths. Cabinet exteriors, doors and blanking panels follow, then walls and door hardware.
The raised floor is vacuumed and damp-wiped tile by tile with a mild, residue-free solution. When you schedule under-floor work, crews lift tiles in a controlled sequence, vacuum the plenum, wipe pedestals and cable exteriors within reach, and reseat each tile before lifting the next, so airflow and floor support stay intact.
Support rooms, offices and shared spaces
A data center is more than its halls. UPS and battery rooms, electrical rooms, staging and loading areas, network operations rooms and break rooms each get their own task list. Floors are cleaned to keep dust from tracking toward the white space, with tacky mats replaced at entrances on the schedule you set.
Offices, restrooms, kitchens and lobbies follow normal janitorial routines, handled by the same supervised crew. Supervisors carry out quality inspections against your written list, and every visit is logged for your site records.
Post-construction and turnover cleaning
New halls, cage builds and equipment refreshes leave dust, packaging and debris behind. Before equipment goes live, crews clean ceilings, walls, cable tray and fixture exteriors, cabinets and floors from the top down, then clean the under-floor plenum. The same approach works when a suite turns over between tenants.
Our post-construction cleaning team coordinates with your project manager so the space is cleaned in step with commissioning, not after a rushed handover.
Scheduling and pricing
Data hall work is usually scheduled as periodic deep cleaning, with quarterly or semi-annual visits common, alongside recurring janitorial service in offices and support rooms. Price is set by white-space square footage, raised-floor and under-floor work, ceiling height, escort and access requirements, and how many support rooms and offices join the plan.
Your operator sets the cleanliness standard its equipment needs, and a walkthrough with your site team turns that standard into a written task list, a visit calendar and a quote.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
Who sets the rules for cleaning inside the data hall?
Your operator does. We follow your access, escort, gowning and equipment-handling procedures in every room.
Is under-floor plenum cleaning part of the service?
Yes. Tiles are lifted a few at a time, the plenum is vacuumed with HEPA equipment and each tile is reseated before the next is lifted.
Will cleaning interrupt live equipment?
No. Crews never plug into your power, open cabinets without direction or move equipment, and they work top to bottom with low-lint tools.
Do you also clean the offices and support rooms?
Yes. Offices, restrooms, break rooms, UPS and electrical rooms and loading areas can all be part of the plan.
