Long days at a desk, and the kitchen down the hall
Concord’s offices run from small downtown suites to large multi-tenant office buildings out near I-680, where financial, claims and biotech teams spend long days at a desk and a stocked kitchen makes a real difference. In most of them, someone has quietly become the pantry buyer, a task that never made it into their job description.
Breakroom and pantry restocking hands that task to Concord Janitorial. Our team buys the coffee, drinks, snacks and disposables you list, delivers them on your chosen schedule and stocks the cupboards, counters and fridge. It is planned apart from our janitorial supplies: those cover restrooms and sinks, while this covers what a shared kitchen eats, drinks and throws away.
Setting up the order
- Walk the kitchen: cabinet space, fridge capacity and where the coffee setup lives
- List the staples: coffee, tea, creamer, sweeteners, water and other drinks
- Add snacks in the mix your team prefers, from salty and sweet to lighter choices
- Note dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegan or low-sugar choices and items made without the ingredients you name
- Set a monthly spending cap and size the order to fit it
The finished order states a quantity for each item, so every restock is measured against something specific. Staff requests go to your Concord Janitorial contact and join the next order.
Spending is tracked against the monthly cap on every run. If a favorite item goes up in price or a new request comes in, we suggest a trade elsewhere on the order to hold the total, and we revisit it with you whenever the team grows or shrinks.
On the shelves
Coffee and tea service items, bottled and sparkling water, juices and sodas, snack bars, chips, crackers, nuts, dried fruit and other packaged snacks. On the kitchen side: cups, lids, stirrers, coffee filters, plates, bowls, napkins and disposable utensils. Seasonal swaps and one-off requests, such as extra drinks for an all-hands meeting, fit inside the same order.
A restock visit, in order
Every visit follows the same sequence. Incoming stock is checked against the order, older items are rotated forward, and anything close to its date is moved up or removed. The coffee area is refilled, drinks go into the fridge, snacks go to their bins and shelves, and empty boxes leave with us.
Then the room gets a quick reset: crumbs cleared from tables and counters, the sink rinsed and wiped, microwave and appliance doors cleaned, fridge shelves wiped down, and full bags of trash and recycling taken out.
Timed with your cleaning visits
If you also hire Concord Janitorial for cleaning, restocking can line up with that schedule. Our office cleaning crews include the breakroom in their visit, so new stock goes into a kitchen that has just been cleaned. Scheduling the restock early in the week covers the busiest days.
Businesses that handle their own cleaning can book pantry restocking by itself, with the same order, cap and visit routine.
Who it suits
Pantry restocking suits offices of every size, from a four-desk suite downtown to a full floor in one of the larger multi-tenant buildings, coworking spaces with a shared kitchen, dental and medical practices whose staff eat between patients, and retail shops whose stockroom doubles as the breakroom.
What sets the price
Product spending is held to the monthly cap. Our fee reflects team size, visit frequency, the grade of products on the order and the amount of kitchen tidying you want, and the quote shows both parts side by side.
A few useful answers
Common questions.
We want different snacks next month. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Swap items, add seasonal choices or drop items nobody reaches for whenever you like. Changes go into the next restock and stay within the monthly cap.
Can you plan around food allergies on the team?
Yes. Tell us at setup which ingredients to avoid, and we leave them out of every order, picking alternatives made without those ingredients where the team wants a substitute.
Can we book the pantry service on its own?
Yes. It runs as a standalone service. Offices that also have us clean can combine both on one schedule.
How often do restock visits happen?
You choose the rhythm, from weekly to every other week, based on headcount and how quickly the shelves empty. Larger teams can add a midweek top-up for coffee and drinks.
Who decides what to buy?
You do. The order, quantities and cap are set with your Concord Janitorial contact, and staff requests are added when they fit.
